Terms of Service
As of: 11/05/2026 · Version 1.0
The legally binding version of these Terms is the German version available at /agb. The translation below is provided for convenience only.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the web application "Scent Inventory" ("Service") between Tristan Eberhardt, Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Str. 15, 73732 Esslingen am Neckar, Germany ("Provider") and the user.
2. Subject of the contract
The Provider offers a web-based application for managing raw materials, dilutions, formulations and production workflows. The current scope of features is described inside the Service.
3. Account
A free user account is required. Users must keep their credentials confidential and are responsible for all activity under their account.
4. Free and paid use
The Service is available as a free plan with limited features or as a paid premium subscription. Prices and scope are clearly stated inside the Service. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled by the end of the current billing period.
5. User obligations
Users must not abuse the Service, post unlawful content, or take actions that impair the Service's operation.
6. Availability
The Provider aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows and incidents may temporarily limit access.
7. Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to typical foreseeable damage.
8. User content
User content (e.g. formulations, notes, community posts) remains owned by the user. The user grants the Provider a simple license to the extent technically required to operate the Service.
9. Termination
Users can delete their account at any time. Paid subscriptions end at the agreed end of the term.
10. Changes to these Terms
The Provider may amend these Terms, in particular to reflect changes in the legal framework. Material changes will be communicated to users in due time.
11. Final provisions
German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
