This ester provides a distinctive green profile that moves beyond freshly cut blades into a full plant character, encompassing stems, earth, and roots. Fresh and green qualities are pronounced, accompanied by a spicy, herbal undertone and a mellow fruity aspect in the background. Compared to the sharpness of the acetate equivalent, it exhibits greater substantivity and rounded softness, functioning effectively well into the heart stage. It displays high overall potency with prominent aromatic nuances reminiscent of chamomile blossoms, crushed leaves, apple, and vine foliage.

Working dilution

A working dilution of 1% is suggested for bench formulation work, while a 0.1% dilution is recommended for sensory smelling.
