Short profile

Corps Racine has an exceptionally intense green character dominated by earthy roots rather than fresh foliage. Pea-pod and ginseng impressions accompany a petitgrain-like nuance, giving the profile a raw vegetal quality. Further supplier observations identify uncooked potato, pepper and damp soil nuances. The supplier describes lasting base-note presence but provides no staged blotter observations or specific projection measurements, so an opening-to-dry-down progression is not established.

Effect in a formula

Use it to introduce a soil-and-root dimension into green compositions and to deepen the earthy aspect of vetiver or patchouli accords without increasing their natural-oil content. It can reinforce sandalwood and moss structures, while providing vegetal contrast within animalic blends. At trace levels, it contributes raw-produce realism to fruit and vegetable accords; the supplier also identifies iris and green chypre applications.

Use and dosage

The supplier places usual concentrate use below 0.1%, with only trace additions needed for apple, cucumber, pea and tropical-fruit effects. It separately gives 0.001–0.05% for finished fragrance; this is a different dosage basis and should not be read as a concentrate range. These figures are formulation guidance, not IFRA limits.

No confirmed manufacturer use level for this exact product.

Behaviour and performance

Tenacity
Supplier-described persistence extends from many hours into days, with a base-note role. No blotter-specific duration, evaluation dilution or test conditions are supplied.

Diffusion, tenacity and note impact are not combined into a single performance score.

Dissolving and diluting

Solvents
Ethanol and DPG are reported to dissolve the material readily, and IPM is also listed as a suitable solvent. The supplier describes lipid solubility but no water solubility.
Working dilution
For routine preparation, use a 1% solution in ethanol; the supplier also lists DPG and IPM as solvents. Its practical guidance favours 0.1% for fine dosing and 0.01–0.1% for smelling evaluation. A separate general-use section mentions 1% or 10% stocks, whereas the more detailed handling advice emphasises the weaker solutions.
Appearance
Liquid with a colour ranging from colourless to faint yellow.
Practical tip: Evaluate diluted material rather than smelling it neat because of its very high odour intensity. Reserve a dedicated pipette and keep the container tightly closed and separate from other materials: the supplier notes persistent odour transfer to hands, clothing and work surfaces.
