Opening with a piercing, camphoraceous chill, this oil provides an intensely cooling and fresh medicinal rush driven by high cineole content. The heart maintains a sharp, herbaceous hardness with characteristic terpene freshness reminiscent of forest air and Australian bush. As it dries down, the aggressive pharmaceutical sharpness softens into a gentle, slightly sweet and woody foundation. It projects forcefully as a diffusive top note that imparts a distinct physiological sense of coldness.
Effect in a formula
Acts as an intense top-note modifier, providing penetrating clarity, opening lift, and an active sensation of cooling radiance to the start of a fragrance. Dissolving and diluting

- Dissolves cleanly in ethanol, dipropylene glycol (DPG), and isopropyl myristate (IPM), but turns hazy or cloudy when mixed with aqueous alcohol solutions.
