Short profile

A floral-led lavender with herbaceous freshness and a restrained camphor accent at the opening. The heart introduces honeyed sweetness and a hay-like nuance, while a gentle woody dryness rounds out the profile. Its overall character is balanced rather than sharply camphoraceous. The supplier does not provide measured projection or a timed blotter dry-down.

Effect in a formula

Establishes a lavender-centred heart with both floral and aromatic character. Alongside coumarin and oakmoss, it supplies the lavender component of a traditional fougère structure.

Use and dosage

The supplier gives 2–15% as its general formulation range, allowing higher proportions for lavender-led fougères and colognes. Separately, its laboratory notes suggest 1–10% in the finished fragrance; this is a different dosage basis and should not be read as a concentrate range. These are formulation recommendations, not IFRA limits.

No confirmed manufacturer use level for this exact product.

Dissolving and diluting

Solvents
Ethanol and DPG are reported to produce clear solutions readily. IPM also appears among the supplier's listed solvent options.
Working dilution
Use undiluted for compounding or prepare a 10% working solution in ethanol; the supplier's dilution-calculator link specifies ethanol at that strength.
Appearance
A lightly yellow-coloured oil with low viscosity.
Practical tip: Keep the oil away from light and in cool storage to preserve its fresh character. The supplier reports a storage life of two to three years under those conditions, with freshness diminishing thereafter.
