Effect in a formula
The specialty imparts deep amber warmth, tenacity, and authentic animalic richness to complex structures. It performs exceptionally well as an anchoring base in oriental, woody, and leathery compositions, seamlessly bridging Middle Eastern rose accords and dark forest notes.
Dissolving and diluting
- Solvents
- Forms clear mixtures in triethyl citrate (TEC), benzyl benzoate, and isopropyl myristate (IPM). Dilution in hydrous or 96% ethanol may result in haziness; it should therefore be thoroughly incorporated into the fragrance concentrate before alcohol addition.
