Effect in a formula
Because of its amide structure, this ingredient offers outstanding stability against hydrolysis in applications where traditional fruit esters deteriorate, making it ideal for creating powerful blooming effects in wash-off formats like body washes and shampoos. It imparts a long-lasting, sparkling tropical fruit top-to-heart presence with a distinctive rhubarb and grapefruit facet that persists for days.

- Demonstrates exceptional substantivity for a fruity material, lasting approximately 240 hours on a smelling strip.

Dissolving and diluting
- Solvents
- Readily forms clear solutions in ethanol, dipropylene glycol (DPG), and isopropyl myristate (IPM).
- Working dilution
- Recommended at 1% for standard formulation work, and diluted down to 0.1% for organoleptic evaluation.
- Appearance
- Liquid varying from clear colorless to faint pale yellow.
