Short profile

A forceful green-herbal material with a clearly recognisable fresh-parsley identity. Pepper-like pungency gives the freshness a sharp contour, while vegetal and earthy-spicy nuances provide a distinctly culinary depth. The herb oil is described as brighter and greener than parsley seed oil. The supplier does not provide a timed blotter evolution or separate opening, heart and dry-down observations, nor a projection assessment.

Effect in a formula

Introduces a naturalistic edible-herb dimension to green compositions, with vegetal depth and a peppery accent. Trace additions provide distinctive detailing in fougères, chypres and contemporary green fragrances; herbal and garden accords are also cited applications. Excessive dosing can shift the composition towards a soup-vegetable character.

Use and dosage

The supplier recommends 0.05–0.5% of the fragrance formulation, with trace use favoured for subtle green-herbal accents. A separate laboratory note gives 0.01–0.5% in the finished fragrance; this is a different dosing basis and should not be treated as a concentrate range. Heavy additions risk an overtly culinary, soup-vegetable effect. These are formulation recommendations, not IFRA limits.

No confirmed manufacturer use level for this exact product.

Behaviour and performance

Tenacity
The supplier rates persistence as moderate, on an hours-long scale. No numerical duration, evaluation dilution or confirmed blotter test conditions are supplied.

Diffusion, tenacity and note impact are not combined into a single performance score.

Dissolving and diluting

Solvents
Clear solutions are reported in ethanol, DPG and IPM. Alcohol containing water produces haze.
Working dilution
Prepare a 1% working solution for formulation trials and use 0.1% for olfactory evaluation. Ethanol is the supplier's primary listed solvent; DPG and IPM are also listed as suitable.
Appearance
Liquid with a pale yellow to greenish colour.
Practical tip: Assess this powerful oil at 0.1% and compound from a 1% stock to keep its culinary character under control. Store away from light in a cool location.
