Short profile

Sparkling bittersweet citrus with a dry green, tea-like nuance.

Effect in a formula

Provides citrus lift at the opening, with floral softness and a bitter counterpoint rather than a straightforward lemon or mandarin effect. In cologne structures it shifts the impression away from sweetness; it also suits tea, citrus and restrained Japanese-inspired compositions.

Use and dosage

The recommended-use section gives 1–10% of the concentrate for citrus, tea, cologne and Japanese-inspired compositions. Elsewhere the page assigns the same range to finished fragrance, so its dosage basis is inconsistent. This is formulation guidance, not an IFRA limit.

Behaviour and performance

Tenacity
Described as a volatile opening material with an impression lasting minutes to approximately 1 hour. No blotter-specific measurement or evaluation dilution is provided for this duration.

Diffusion, tenacity and note impact are not combined into a single performance score.

Dissolving and diluting

Solvents
Ethanol, DPG and IPM give clear solutions. Alcohol containing water can produce haze.
Working dilution
Evaluate at 10% in ethanol. For compounding, the supplier lists either neat material or a 10% working solution.
Appearance
Liquid with a pale yellow colour.
Practical tip: Rapid oxidation is a handling concern for this terpene-rich extract: keep containers tightly closed, protected from light and cool, with little empty space above the liquid. The supplier mentions BHT as an oxidation-control aid but specifies no addition rate.
