Short profile

This material presents a vibrant, bright citrus opening that pairs sparkling freshness with a soft floral undertone. As it develops, it unveils a distinctive dry grapefruit-like bitterness alongside an aromatic, resinous green facet. The scent bridges the qualities of mandarin, grapefruit, and subtle blossoms without becoming overly sweet. Operating purely as an energetic top note, its presence shapes the immediate impact of a composition before tapering off.

Effect in a formula

It introduces a distinctively bright and floral-bitter citrus sparkle to top notes, reducing excess sweetness in colognes while elevating their elegance. The extract provides clean, modern radiance that fits seamlessly into tea themes and minimalist, Japanese-inspired aesthetic directions.

Use and dosage

Recommended for use between 1% and 10% in the fragrance concentrate when constructing citrus blends, tea motifs, or modern colognes.

No confirmed manufacturer use level for this exact product.

Behaviour and performance

Tenacity

Diffusion, tenacity and note impact are not combined into a single performance score.

Dissolving and diluting

Solvents
Displays clear miscibility in ethanol, dipropylene glycol (DPG), and isopropyl myristate (IPM), but will cause turbidity or hazing in aqueous alcoholic media.
Appearance
Pale yellow liquid.
Practical tip: Because of its high terpene concentration, this oil oxidizes rapidly; containers should be completely filled to avoid headspace, kept in cold and dark storage, and stabilized with an antioxidant such as BHT. Formulators should also take note of declarable allergens, including limonene and citral.
